Beauty winter essentials
Winter has started , this mean you have to pay more attention to your beauty routine.
Cold winter air, switching from cold outdoor to a warm indoor can be very harsh leaving your skin dry,flaky and irritated . This will also cause your appearance to look dull then usual.
So during winter we have to take extra care for our skincare, a little change to your beauty products , adding some products for dry skin.
🔘Using a serum to start your skincare routine, a hyaluronic acid base serum makes an ideal lightweight yet highly effective way to step up your wintertime
🔘A moisturizer that is heavier , which will really hydrate your skin. Cold and dry weather results in loss of moisture in the skin so your skin becomes dry. Dryness will look abit red and flaky.
🔘Adding a face scrub to your routine will also help to remove all dead cells, making your skin smoother and softer .
🔘Facial oils will also add an extra hydration to the skin, these oils constant of many good vitamins which help the skin to rejuvenate .
🔘Sunscreen is still essential in the winter. Sometimes it’s so cold out that we don’t even realize our skin is being exposed to the elements, leaving it more susceptible to damage.
🔘Using a good lip balm will prevent chappy lips, as well as exfoliating . Using plain brown sugar will help to exfoliate any dry skin on your lip
Some of my winter products , I do use a lot more then this, I try to take extra care of my skin in winter , I hate the feeling of dry and uncomfortable skin. Also it doesn’t make my make up set well, your canvas got to be hydrated to have a smooth finish.

The Morphe 350-2 palette consists of 35 colors , wow I love that there so many colors which also becomes affordable. So many colors to create many different colors.
There’s a mix of matte and shimmery colors, bright to nudes. Also it includes a black shade to create those Smokey eyes with lighter shade. It has such gorgeous colors.
My go to look is always light colors I don’t go for those bald looks all the time , occasionally or when I’m in the mood. I don’t like to bright colors which makes my face look to out there. This palette makes me so happy to create my looks cause it has a lot of light/nude shades..
The colors are very pigmented so when blending add a little onto the brush. With blending it so easy to work with , blends really well, able to mix colors which still look pretty. I highly recommend to purchase this palette if you like simple looks , but there are brighter colors as well to add more color.

What is happiness?
Happiness is a feeling of emotion such as pleasure and joy. This is a feeling of been positive, happiness is not always with a person . We can not be happy all the time , it’s part of an emotion that we will. Being happy is brought by yourself , you have to make yourself happy. It’s your choice to be happy or to make yourself feel joy and stress free.
A person can not be happy all the time , there is still part of sadness in us. The rise of happiness will either be a holiday or a new job. This will cause the happy emotion to rise to the highest level, but there after we back to a set point.

Some people may stay longer happy while others settle down quicker to the normal level , or there’s people in the middle who handle both situations half and half.
Not everyday will result in happiness , a bad day at work , martial problems , less income, something you can not purchase…etc, but this is upon yourself how you want to feel and how long you want to stay unhappy.

Happiness isn’t having a lot of money, living a posh life . It doesn’t come from being happy about the past or future plans, being happy is present . It’s a combination of how satisfied you are with your day to day lifestyle , the choices you make , the time you engage with family and friends.
Happiness is having satisfaction and meaning in life. It’s the ability to feel positive emotions. The ability to overcome negative emotions. The ability to connect with others.

Winter skin can be very difficult to manage. In winter the skin becomes very dry and dehydrated, which makes it so difficult to find a product that will lock in moisture and not dry quickly . During winter our skin gets dry, why? The humidity level drops , the air outside is cold and dry, the water in our skin evaporates quicker, which makes it dry and have the flaky look.
This is when we look for many products to help with moisturizing . I purchased the human kind cream, I use this on my face and body. I mostly use it during winter it helps to lock In moisture , keeps my skin very soft and smooth.
Human kind cream has many exotic Africans oils , it also has tissue oil , I use this on my entire body. It doesn’t make my son greasy that what i love but it still moisturizers.
Some of the ingredients are :
Baobab,Kalahari,melon,Mongongo nut and marula.
The scent of the cream is so fresh and earthy.

I purchased one lipstick to test if I like it especially the shade and the texture. The shade I choose is NUDE SUEDE
Firstly I love the shade I’m so impressed with the color, nude lipsticks doesn’t always suit me so I was a skeptical when When I picked the shade. It’s very lovely goes so well with any look. It will always be perfect for everyday use.
When I saw the launch pictures of the lipstick the one thing that attracted my eyes was the package . It so cute , goes very well with the theme of nude shades. Very elegant package.
Each shade is made to match different skin tones, on the Avon site or the catalogue it will show you skin tones, this has made it easier when selecting your color. The texture of the lipstick when applied , it makes my lips feel very smooth and soft, it doesn’t give a dry look, it very moist but Matt. The color is pigmented well don’t need to keep going over and over. I applied it once in the morning , it stayed the entire day, when I ate it did come of alittle so I just had to touch up.

I’m a mom so I do have those days of been tired , my eye area will look a bit dark and puffy well I just do my own skincare at home.
I always use skin republic sheet mask mask I find them to be so effective, the masks are loaded with so much of serum this makes the product to absorb into the skin and it does show the results .
I purchased the brightening eye mask about 2 months ago, in the pack you will get 3 pairs of eye mask. When I bought I used one the same time, after 2 months I still have , the packaging as a good ceiling system so my mask are still the same , no dryness to the product I can still use them, I felt this to be very good as you not forced to use all the same time.

As the years went by skincare has become more advance by producing different chemicals, textures,different types of skin …etc. This has urged women to take more care of their skin , wanting to looks young and dewy.
Skin care products does involves science to research different chemicals to work well for all skin types, not every product will agree to every person. Why? Skin is part of the body’s organ , this makes every person different, this is why skincare has to be made according to proper research and science. There are products which help to make the skin more healthy, prevents any damage from sun ,such as sunblock , ( I will do an in-depth post on sunblock).

I have tried using petroleum jelly on my face and body, it has worked so well in moisturizing and keeping my skin soft and smooth . I also used this on my feet during winter it helps with cracked heels.
